You are the Music While the Music Lasts

The impetus for this programme was research being undertaken by the Design and Technology department into how sound works within a design context or how sound impacts upon how we navigate our way in relation to space.

The commissioned artists were all interested in creating work that explores the relationship between environment, audience and sound. Their projects investigate how sound can shape our experience of a particular context, or help to make an environment more visible to us.  They also simply enable the listener to undertake a journey that will enable them to immerse themselves in this particular sense.
