Artist Lecture Programme

Radar is running a series of public talks run by artists, to discuss their practices and how they are undertaken practically.

The free sessions are designed for students, but all are welcome.

Giles Round
Wednesday 28 February, 2pm - 3pm
WAVB01, Wavy Top Building
Giles Round is an artist operating across a variety of disciplines including architecture, ceramics, design, print and typography. This talk will focus on the making of three recent exhibitions through the roles of artist, curator and designer.

Kelly Large
Thursday 1 March, 10am - 11am
Cope Auditorium
During this talk artist and curator Kelly Large will explore ways to work in certain spaces with objects, images, film and videos, sharing examples from the speakerís professional experience as well as examples of other artists and curators.

Vikki Jessop
Thursday 26 April, 10am - 11am
Cope Auditorium
Vikki will give a talk about ways in which different artworks can be installed in different places. She will share examples of best practice including how to plan and prepare for such work.
