Time to get creative!

Each year LU Arts offers evening classes in Pottery for students, staff and members of the public.

There are two sets of classes (5 evenings a week), one on a Tuesday evening and the other on a Thursday evening, starting w/c 7th January. Please note these are independent classes and are not interchangeable.

Learn to be creative with clay during this 10 week course, trying out different techniques using a variety of tools, whether you're wanting to pick up a new skill or develop your existing talents. The course caters for beginners up to more experienced ceramicists.

When?

Tuesday or Thursday evenings, 7-9pm from 8th/10th January to 19th/21st March 2019.

Please note: There will be no class the w/c 18th February for both the Tuesday and Thursday classes.

Room 30, 3D Design Building, School of the Arts

How much?

Loughborough University students - £50.00

General public and Loughborough University staff – £100.00  

There will be an additional charge for materials, which will be dependent on the amount used.

The tutor - Jessica Cohen

Jessica is an experienced ceramicist who has worked as a lecturer, technician and independent designer/maker across the country since 1994. She promotes an experimental and investigative approach to learning and enjoys developing creative inquisitiveness and confidence in students.

Both sets of classes have now SOLD OUT.
