Loughborough University Arts provides subsidised music tuition offered to students selected via informal open auditions. Those selected receive thirty minutes' tuition per week for twenty weeks. The cost of this would be £250, but via the scheme, students only pay £55.
Tuition is offered in singing, piano, guitar, violin, flute, brass, clarinet, cello and saxophone. It is expected that students who benefit from the scheme will take an active part in the musical life of the University, by joining groups such as the orchestra, choir or concert band. Due to the high demand for places, we do not cater for beginners.
Please complete the application form and return before 12th October 2012. You will then be emailed further information about the informal auditions including dates and locations.
